Oily Waste Treatment Facility Successfully up and Running
The beginning of 2005 saw the launch of the Hitech Willacy Joint Venture facility which has been designed for the collection, treatment and disposal of oily waste from a variety of sources.
The facility in Scotland is committed to meeting the Waste Acceptance Criteria, offering innovative waste solutions combining the Willacy well proven sludge processing plant with the Hitech facility and sludge collection capabilities.
The licensed treatment facilities offer flexible opening hours and cost effective solutions.
An open day was held in April and visitors were inpressed by the facilities available and the ability to minimise waste, recovering valuable hydrocarbons and water.
